Glenwoods Arts Theater (aka
Metcalf Theater / Reo Theater)
The Metcalf Theatre at 95th and Metcalf has being renovated. It is now the GLENWOOD ARTS THEATRE. This splendid 1967 theatre has the nostalgia of the old Glenwood along with some new and thrilling design concepts giving it a luxurious atmosphere. An added attraction is the "Schwabs Soda Fountain." This old fountain will pay homage to its famous namesake on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. It serves sodas, confections, and coffee and has a outdoor terrace seating when weather permits. The Fine Arts Group is dedicated to bringing unique motion picture entertainment to discriminating patrons who prefer to view films presented in classic theatres--where the show starts on the sidewalk out front.
